The generosity of individuals and organizations, big and small, from all walks of life has played a major role in the Lake Metroparks being recognized as one of the finest public park systems in the United States.

Gifts can include but are not limited to:

Memorials to others
Trusts combining lifetime income benefits with philanthropy
Bequests – remembering parks in your will
Donations of land and/ or historical property
Life insurance policies naming the park system as a beneficiary
Endowments to a park or program

Because of gifts given through the Lake Parks Foundation:

Over 500 children per year are awarded scholarships and camperships.
Thousands of orphaned and injured animals are cared for at the nationally recognized state-of-the-art Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center at Penitentiary Glen Reservation before being returned to the wild.
Educational exhibits at Farmpark provide hands-on learning experiences.
Lake Metroparks conservation initiatives receive additional support through funding for natural resource projects.

All contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
