Supporting the Miracle League of Lake county

Since 2019, Lake Parks Foundation has annually sponsored a baseball team for the Miracle League of Lake County which enables children and youth athletes with physical and mental disabilities to build self-esteem, make new friends, and delight in the experience of playing baseball.

Live images from the Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center at Penitentiary Glen Reservation lets you catch glimpses of bald eagle resident, Apollo or other animals including bobcat cubs and foxes that are rescued, being rehabilitated and released back into nature.

Creek Walk or Fish Along the Grand River

By adding approximately nine acres of property to the Helen Hazen Wyman Park, we have preserved land and access to the Grand River for our community to fish, creek walk and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Expanding Come & Play Nature Exhibit

With the completion of the new Come & Play Nature Exhibit at Penitentiary Glen, children and families are able to learn and interact with imaginative nature discovery activities.

Noble Traverse Wall at Jordan Creek Park

In honor of David Noble, former Lake Metroparks executive director, we were able to secure additional funds from family and friends through Lake Parks Foundation to build the Noble Traverse Wall for kids of all ages to enjoy at Jordan Creek Park.
