Projects

1. Staff at the Lake Metroparks Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center specialize in the rehabilitation of injured wildlife. Also the LPF has contributed greatly to this project beginning with assistance toward the facility’s construction.

2. Lake Metroparks interpreters lead a wildlife education and outreach program at a local area school featuring a red-tailed hawk. LPF plays role through scholarships and support of Wildlife Center.

3. Ribbon-cutting event at the newly renovated Outdoor Classroom at Lake Metroparks Penitentiary Glen Reservation. LPF contributed to renovation and worked with outside foundations.

4. Children’s nature program at Lake Metroparks Hidden Lake Park in Leroy Township. LPF supports this program through scholarships.

5. Installation of wind turbine at Lake Metroparks Farmpark in Kirtland. The turbine is part of a display featuring different forms of alternative energy. LPF contributed to the purchase and installation of the turbine and display.
